When using a market figure, keep its date, unit and scope together. Money raised during a year, financing still outstanding and assets held by investment funds measure different things.
Learn from historical material
An older webinar or case study can show how someone approached a project. Check who published it, when it was produced and whether newer guidance changes its relevance to your proposal. Read transaction terms, programme conditions and projections in the context of their stated period.
